For a person who may be in local custody, start with the Lynn County Sheriff's Office and Jail. The sheriff page names Sheriff Wanda Mason and points the public to VINELink for custody-status checks.

The sheriff complaint and compliment instructions PDF separately lists phone 806-561-5805 and dispatch@co.lynn.tx.us for signed complaint-form submission. It also says complaint forms can be received at the front dispatch window 24/7. Treat that as a complaint/dispatch submission source, not as a posted general jail lobby schedule.

Use the following routing list when the question is not simply a local custody check.

• For someone who may be held at Lynn County Jail, use the sheriff's phone line, the official sheriff page, and jail inmate records guidance.
